Paul grew up in the parsonage and was involved as a leader in youth camps and Young Life. He also spent several years working as a minister of music and youth. Trish began her musical career at an early age with piano lessons and church involvement. In 1973, she traveled with "Lost & Found," a singing group sponsored by the General Church of the Nazarene. Both majored in music -- Paul at Point Loma Nazarene University in California and Trish at Northwest Nazarene University in Idaho.
The Jacksons met in 1974 through a mutual friend, Rev. Warren Rogers, Sr. They married in 1975 and began traveling full-time in January of 1976. In 1983, they incorporated as a 501(c)3 religious organization called Jetstream Ministries, Inc.
Their travels have taken them from coast to coast in the United States, as well as to Canada and overseas, ministering in concerts, revivals, city-wide crusades, camp meetings, youth camps, service clubs, schools and colleges, district assemblies, banquets and retreats. In 1986, they attended the Billy Graham Conference for Itinerant Evangelists in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Tours to Korea and the Holy Land followed in 1988 and 1995, respectively.
As an extension of their ministry, they have recorded nine albums and three video projects of their own, and are featured on the Nazarene Evangelists Video series. Any of these are available for purchase at their services or through the mail.
Both Paul & Trish are commissioned as full-time song evangelists by the Kansas District Church of the Nazarene. They are also members of the Christian Motorcyclist Assn. and the Country Gospel Music Assn.
Leisure time activities for Trish include crafts of many kinds, gardening, collecting coins, thimbles, and old kitchen utensils, jigsaw puzzles, reading, and cooking. Paul enjoys weight lifting, sound and diesel magazines, sci fi and adventure movies, and collecting caps and biker pins. When the schedule permits, they both find time to remodel their 75-year-old house, ride the motorcycle and shop for second hand bargains. They make their home in Meade, KS.
